Fashion is ever evolving and so is style. Nigerian fashion bloggers are getting it right and bringing positivity to the influencer market. I sat down with fashion blogger Candace to speak about how fashion has affected her daily life. Her Instagram page, with a great style and awesome aesthetics, is a sight for sore eyes.
Being a lover of vintage chic fashion, what does fashion mean to you?
Answer: Fashion means creating or developing a style you feel comfortable in and sticking to it.
Question: How has fashion blogging influenced your style?
Answer: Fashion blogging has influenced my style in a lot of ways but I’ll limit it to four.
Question: What is the 5 essential wardrobe pieces every woman needs?
Answer: I would say the 5 wardrobe staples everyone needs are: a blue denim trouser, a pair of sunglasses, a white shirt or tee, a mule and a black bag.
Question: With the current trend on events, what’s your sociopolitical stand on legalizing abortion?
Answer: I’ve never thought about it.
Question: One fashion advice you would give your younger self?
Answer: Let people know your style and understand you.
Question: How does having a 9 to 5 job affect your fashion choices.
Answer: Working a 9 to 5 is hectic, and regardless of my personal style, I’m restricted to wearing some kinds of outfits because of my teaching job.
Question: With the hustle and bustle of life, how do you find time to have a skin care routine?
Answer: I haven’t started out any skin care routines.
Question: Do you think having a great style has changed people’s perception of you?
Answer: Yes, it has.
Question: If yes, why?
Answer: A lot of respect has being gained since i started incorporating my fashion sense into all my dressing.
