FA Cup games and predictions
The FA Cup 5th round resumes with Chelsea hosting Jurgen Klopp’s troops Liverpool while Newcastle will be playing Championship side West Brome. Sheffield United will play Reading. Arsenal who opened the FA Cup 5th round played against Portsmouth and won 2-0. The remaining games will be played Wednesday and Thursday respectively. As always we will be giving analysis on the games before making predictions on the game.
Liverpool will be looking to bounce back from a shocking 3-0 defeat to Watford in the English Premier League Matchday 29 clash. they battle Chelsea for a spot in the FA Cup quarter-finals at the iconic Stamford Bridge on Tuesday evening. The Royals are on the right track to secure yet another Championship survival, but they can’t afford any complacency in the remaining games of the season. They have been struggling at home ground in the second half of the season, and they have only managed to win one win in their previous six home games in the English second tier.
Sheffield United, on the other hand, has been performing above all expectations this term, with the team sitting in the 8th position in the EPL standings. The Blades aim to give fans yet another reason for celebration, and we predict that they will take advantage of the fact that the Royals have been struggling on home soil of late. Even though both West Brome Albiom and Newcastle United competes in different leagues, WBA compates in the Championship and Newcastle United in the Premier League, the Baggies are most likely to win the FA Cup 5th round tie. The Magpies, on the other hand, have been having their ups and downs in the second half of the season. Considering that Newcastle United needed a replay to beat League One side Oxford United in the last 32, home win should definitely be considered.
