Estranged wife of late Larry King, Shawn Southwick King, has created confusion and raised questions as she has spoken up regarding the real cause of his death.
The TV icon and legend was reported dead last Saturday after according to reports, testing positive for COVID-19.
So what killed Larry King?
However, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Shawn King said Larry King died of sepsis, and not coronavirus.
According to her, “His sweet little body was just being hit so many times with so many things, and once we heard the word Coronavirus, all of our hearts just sank.”
She pointed out that Larry King had beat COVID-19, but it had already taken a great toll on his health, subsequently, the unrelated infection was what took his life.
She added that Larry was strong and would not “go down easily.”
Shawn was married to King from 1997 until 2019, and she revealed that she spoke with Larry on video call before his death. Larry is the father of her sons, Chance and Cannon,
She said Larry’s last message to her was, ‘I love you, take care of the boys.”
Shawn was King’s seventh wife and was dealing with a divorce at the time of his death.
