Reports coming from Kano state is that another prominent person has died, ex-assistant police commissioner, Hamza Idris Malikawa died in a hospital in Kano. This comes barely 24 hours after report of the death of an assistant commissioner of police in Kano.
Hamza’s brother, Rilwanu, confirmed his brothers death.He is the media officer for Kano Pillars FC and he said,“He was admitted to the hospital three days ago, and died yesterday (Monday). He was a diabetic patient.”
Kano Pillars FC also mourned in a tweet on twitter, “Our thought and prayers here @pillarsfc are with the family of the Media Officer of our darling club, Rulwanu Idris Malikawa who lost his brother, former Assis. Commissioner of Police, Hamza Idris Malikawa. He would be buried this morning in Kano. May his soul rest in peace!”
