A former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has highlighted the solution to the Kaduna-Abuja Road Kidnaping.
Sani suggested that the youths of villages around the area should be recruited into the Police and Civil Defence.
He added that the youths should be redeployed to their villages to protect the road and combat the kidnappers.
The former Senator opined that the youths know the terrain better.
According to him, there are about 37 villages along the Kaduna-Abuja road.
Earlier, he had bemoaned how the Bandits blocked the Kaduna-Abuja road in broad daylight.
The former lawmaker added that the kidnappers abducted scores of people.
Meanwhile, Sani stressed that Operation Puff Adder needs reactivation.
