Nigerian rapper Eva Alordiah recently commented on how many married women experience a lack of sexual satisfaction in their marriages, which can sometimes lead to infidelity. Her statement followed a social media uproar over a leaked tape involving Equatorial Guinea’s finance chief, Baltasar Ebang Engonga, who was seen with several women, including some who are married.
In her reaction, Eva highlighted that many women endure ongoing dissatisfaction because their husbands often overlook this issue. She remarked, “When will we finally address the fact that so many women are experiencing intense sexual dissatisfaction in their marriages, and most men don’t even care to understand why or how to improve it? A well-loved and deeply fulfilled woman is less likely to stray.”
Her comments sparked a debate online. One fan argued that cheating is a matter of personal character and not solely about sexual satisfaction, tweeting, “This is like saying a man who is well satisfied would never cheat. A cheater will cheat regardless, even if they’re intimate every day.”
Eva responded, acknowledging that while cheating can be linked to personality, she noted that men and women often cheat for different reasons, saying, “Yes, a cheater is a cheater. But did you know women and men cheat for completely different reasons?”
