Following the collapse of former Tottenham Hotspur and Ajax Denmark player Christian Eriksen, reports have come from the hospital where he said he is “awake” and in stable condition. The Danish Football Association brought the information.
Christian Eriksen is Up and Stable in the Hospital
The 29-year-old’s condition has been “stabilised”, according to tournament organisers Uefa. However, they postponed before half-time due to the incident, and Uefa said they would provide information on when the game will continue. The game continued after Erikson’s fall, but the players requested to suspend the match since they were still goalless, and Uefa considered the request.
The Denish Football Association, through a statement, said Christian Eriksen is now in hospital and a stable condition. Uefa have sent their message to the player wishing him a speedy recovery and wishes to thank both teams for their exemplary attitude.
His club Inter Milan and his teammates, both present and former wish him a speedy recovery. Inter tweeted: “Forza Chris, all of our thoughts are with you.” His former team Tottenham said: “Get well soon, Christian. The whole Spurs family is with you.”
