Ethiopia has suffered a terrible loss this past weekend. The crash of the Ethiopian Airline Flight 302, which killed 157 on board including flight crew members.

The plane reportedly went down only 6 minutes after take off. the plane consisted of over 30 nationalities; 3 Nigerians, 2 Chinese, 7 Americans, 32 Kenyans, 18 Ethiopians.

The cause of the fatal plane crash is still unknown. Reports say that the crash is quite similar to the October 29 Lion Air Plane. The plane crash en route from Indonesia, crashed in the java seas. Carrying 189 passengers including, 1 child, 2 babies and 8 crew members.

The air plane model which was used during both flights is Boeing 737 MAX 8, which is an upgrade from the previous model used.

The manufacturers say there was a technical problem with the MAX 8 on the Lion Air flight but was fixed as required. The causes are still unknown for both flights. Our prayers and thoughts go to all families involved.
