Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has been named the Premier League Manager of the Month for September. He pulled off a dramatic turnaround following a dreadful start to the campaign. Manchester United won both of their Premier League games in September, beating Leicester away and then Arsenal.
The two wins extended Manchester United’s winning run to four league games after falling to consecutive defeats in August. It is only Ten Hag’s second month as a Premier League manager and he is now the manager of the month.
Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford also won the Premier League player of the month which means is a win-win for the club. Ten Hag and his players will start October with their toughest test of the season yet, heading east across the city for a Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium.
