Erik ten Hag is Confident of Signing Two New Players

Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag is increasingly confident of bringing Dutch star player Frenkie de Jong and Brazilian star Antony to Old Trafford. The two players are played under him at different times and he believes they are still loyal to him. While Frankie de Jong is playing for Barcelona presently, Antony is still with Ajax.

Reports have it that De Jong has already agreed on a potential move to the Premier League side on phone with the manager. Erik Ten Hag is on the mission to rebuild Manchester United and he is looking to get a central midfield to replace Nemanja Matic. The Dutchman is at the top of the Red Devils’ shortlist of summer transfer targets.

Brazilian star Antony is another leading target for Erik Ten Hag who is keen to reunite with the Brazilian star. Manchester United have been handed a fresh boost in their pursuit of the the22-year-old as his agents will be travelling to Europe to negotiate their client’s future. It is believed that the player is valued at £51million (€60m). 

The report also said that the player’s representatives jetted into Europe ‘to accelerate’ a move to United, which could even be ‘concluded’ by the trip. It adds that Antony’s future is set to be decided in these ‘decisive days’ of negotiations.
