Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri Erewa has revealed that the evacuation of Nigerians from the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the United States would commence this week.
In a tweet via her official Twitter handle, Erewa urged all applicants to check with the various missions for updates.
The Chairman further urged the applicants to abide by protocols as she also prays that the Lord heal the world from the Coronavirus pandemic.
The tweet reads, “Planned evacuation of Nigerians begins from this week. UAE. The UK. USA etc. All applicants should please check with the various missions for updates and protocols to abide by. May the Lord heal the world.”
Meanwhile, she had earlier in another tweet hinted that she would attend a virtual town hall meeting with Nigerians in America on Saturday, May 9 to discuss the Challenges and the way forward.

In the meantime, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed that the country had reported 2, 558 cases of persons infected with Coronavirus as at midnight May 3.
