The English Premier League EPL has released the 2020/20 Premier League fixtures with the teams that particip[ated deep in the European competitions all to start later than other teams. According to the fixtures, the first game will be between the champions of Premier League and the champions of the English Championship, Liverpool will be playing Leeds United at Arnfield.
Championship play-off winners Fulham will host Arsenal, while West Bromwich Albion, the third promoted side, are at home to Leicester City. The opening round of fixtures will take place on the weekend of 12 September. EPL clubs who made it to the quarter-finals of the European Competition will have to play their own games later. Manchester City will be hosting Aston Villa while Burnley will battle Manchester United athome the fixture will change and be rearranged accordingly.
Those two games will not be played on the opening weekend to give the two Manchester clubs time to rest well, Wolves are also in this category, they are supposed to travel to Chelsea, but their game has taken a change The Blues will now play Brighton, while Wolves go to Sheffield United.
The other EPL opening weekend fixtures are Crystal Palace hosting Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur playing Everton and then West Ham United v Newcastle United. Exact dates and kick-off times will be confirmed when the television selections are made. Matches will still be played behind closed doors due to the coronavirus pandemic. The English Football League fixtures are expected to be announced on Friday.
