English Premier League Records Five Cases of Coronavirus

The English Premier League has reported new cases of coronavirus following the weekly test they run for the players. They said there have been five positive results from the latest round of coronavirus testing. They conducted a total of 1,128 test on players and club staff tested between Monday, 5 October and Sunday, 11 October.

The players or the coaching staff which tested positive for the virus have not been identified but will all go into self-isolation for the next 10 days. Celtic recently recorded some cases of the Covid-19 in their team as Israeli defender tested positive for the virus while in international duty. 

There were nine positive tests between 28 September and 4 October in the previous round of testing, following 10 in the seven days before that. The English Premier League players and other leagues are currently on an international break to resume on Saturday latest.
