English Carabao Cup: Serie A, and La Liga in One Night

The Carabao Cup continues with Unai Emery’s troops traveling to Anfield. The Reds has been very outstanding this season, both in the Champions League, English Premier League, and Carabao Cup. They will be capitalizing on a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Tottenham in the Premier League. We are positive that the Liverpool boss will be mixing his squad when they play Arsenal in the Carabao Cup. Jurgen Klopp is likely to rest key players but considering is Arsenal they are up against, he won’t rest many key players.

The Gunners, on the other hand, have been struggling to get back to winning ways. They lost to Sheffield United and drew 2-2 at home to Crystal Palace. They will be playing Liverpool this evening to pick up a spot in the next round of the Carabao Cup. Arsenal has a slim chance of winning the Premier League title and so will put in their best to win the Carabao Cup.

Arsenal thrashed Nottingham Forest 5-0 in their Carabao Cup game, but beating Liverpool at home will a bigger task for them to do. In their last meeting in the League Cup (2009), Arsenal recorded a 2-1 win over Liverpool. Liverpool won them early in the season so, will this be the revenge mission for the Gunners? We can only find out after 90 minutes, but from here we are giving the home side the day.

Aston Villa vs Wolverhampton

Aston Villa gave their best on Saturday when they traveled to the Etihad Stadium but still lost the game to the defending champions Manchester City. They will be hosting Nuno Espirito Santo’s troop with the aim of picking back their scoring boots. The Villans aim to get back on course, and they are likely to fight tooth and nail against Wolverhampton in the Carabao Cup last 16. Dean Smith’s men are not easy to beat at home but can they hold wolves who a good away record as well?

Wolverhampton showed a great performance in a 1-1 draw with Newcastle United, coming from behind to share the spoils with the Magpies at St. James’ Park. Nuno’s troops are set to meet Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup. The two sides are looking well ready and so, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw.

Chelsea vs Manchester United

It will be a revenge mission for the home side, Chelsea, when they host Manchester United in the Carabao Cup last 16 rounds. The Blues look unstoppable at the moment, with the team eyeing their eighth consecutive win in all competitions. Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is doing a great job with Chelsea youngsters, and his men are brimming with confidence we believe it will be a difficult game for the away team.

Manchester United, on the other hand, did well in the weekend to beat Norwich City 3-1 on their home ground, but the season has not been in their favor so far. The visitors head into the Carabao Cup clash with major players just recovering from injury. A man to watch out for on the home side will be Christian Pulisic, who scored a hat-trick in a 4-2 win over Burnley at the weekend.

For the visitors, one player to look out for is the young Daniel James who scored against the homes side in his first game with the Red Devils. We believe both teams will find the back of the net in the game but we will prefer to play Over 1.5.

Italian Series A

Udinese vs AS Roman

Dacia Arena will host Wednesday’s football game between Udinese and Roma. The Zebrette aim to bounce back from an embarrassing 7-1 loss to Atalanta and, no doubt, they would be more than happy with one point from the midweek fixture. However, since the hosts head into the match with the lack of confidence, we are tempted to put our money on the visitors.

AS Roma did well to prove their worth in a 2-1 win over Milan and they are capable of beating Udinese, who experienced all sorts of problems at the back in the 7-1 defeat. A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be Bosnian attacker Edin Dzeko, who scored in the 2-1 win over Milan. A win over Igor Tudor’s troops will move Roma to the Champions League berth in the Serie A standings. With this believe betting on the away team won’t be a bad idea.

Juventus vs Genoa

The Old Ladyboys will be aiming to bounce back to the top of the table after dropping two points in a 1-1 draw with Lecce at the weekend. Juventus will be looking to return to winning ways in Serie A when they welcome Genoa at their Allianz Stadium on Matchday 10.

The Bianconeri are a real force to reckon with at home, they are eyeing their fifth consecutive win in front of home fans. Cristiano Ronaldo was not in action in their 1-1 draw with Lecce but since the Portuguese is likely to return to the starting XI in today’s game. We believe that there is a big value in betting on the titleholders.

The Rossoblu did well to beat Brescia 3-1 at home in their last league fixture, but given their poor away record, we do not believe that the underdogs are capable of spoiling Juve’s party at Allianz Stadium. In their last away game in the Italian top-flight Genoa suffered a heavy 5-1 loss to Parma.

Spanish La Liga

Real Madrid vs Leganes

Zinedine Zidane’s troops are eager to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Mallorca as they welcome Leganes to their home ground. Many of the players are likely to come back to from injury boosting the morale of the team. Eden Hazard will be one of the key players to look out for as they welcome fellow Madrid side Leganes, with the development from the home side a bet for them won’t be a bad idea.

Luis Cembranos’ troops, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Mallorca, but beating Real Madrid at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu is easier said than done. We predict a home win and Over 2.5

Valencia vs Sevilla

All eyes will be on Estadio de Mestalla when Valencia and Sevilla face each other on Matchday 11. Los Che aims to bounce back from a 3-1 loss to Osasuna and we are positive that they are going to adopt an attack-minded approach in the game.

Los Sevillanos extended their winning run at home to three games at the weekend, with the team beating Getafe 2-0. The away team has recorded a very poor away performance this season. We do not believe that there is a big value in betting on the Andalusian outfit.

Nonetheless, a lively contest is on the cards and we predict that both teams will score. It has to be noted that key attacker Rodrigo, won’t be in the game. He was sent off in the 3-1 defeat to Osasuna. A man to watch in the away team will be summer signing Lucas Ocampos. He has been in a thrilling form in the first half of the season.
