England Set to Comeback From Shocking Defeat, Euro 2020

England was surprisingly beaten by Czech Republic in their last Euro 2020 qualifier campaign. Although they are still leaders of Group A, they will be looking to amend their last errors and put smiles back on the faces of their fans. Group B and H also have interesting games as Portugal will play Ukraine in Group H, while France hosts Turkey as Icelander host Andorra in Group B.

Bulgaria vs England

England lost its last game to Czech Republic and so, will be aiming to bounce when they take on Bulgaria in Sofia on Monday. The Three Lions remained in top position in Group A with one match outstanding which will be played today. They will be battling with a side who is yet to win any match in the Euro 2020 Campaign.

Harry Kane, was the one the only player to find the back of the net when they met Czech Republic, he scored from the penalty spot in the 2-1 loss. Kane has been having a really bad time in both the team (England) and club side and will surely be looking to pick his form soonest. Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling is likely to start to post a threat to the defense of the opposition side. The Bulgarians have been struggling in the Euro 2020 qualifiers, they have only managed to collect 3 points from possible 18 points. They really have nothing to play for which is the reason we will predict an away win.

France vs Turkey

It will the battle of the first place position in Group H when France meets Turkey in Stade de France (France Stadium). The French team will be building on their last away win over Iceland and climb Turkey and go top position in the table. Over the years France has built a perfect record in the Stade de France, they have been able to keep an unbeaten run in the venue. The absences of Kylian Mbappe due to injury was felt in their last game and Turkey looks ready to take on any team.

Turkey was able to take advantage of the opposition back line’s error in the dying minutes of the game to win. They are top in the group H sharing the same points with France. The Turks have been unbeaten in their last seven games and will be battling to keep the record counting. They won France 2-0 when they met in Turkey, France will be looking to have their payback in the Stade de France. We will be predicting a sure home win.

Iceland vs Andorra

Iceland will be aiming to put a smile on the faces of their fans again to amend for their last 1-0 loss to France when they take on Andorra. They play host to Andorra on Monday in the Euro 2020 qualifiers. The Icelanders aim to keep their hopes of qualifying for the European Championship alive and we predict that they will go all out to win. Gylfi Sigurdsson and Co. will put in their best to win to rekindle their hopes of qualifying.

The minnows have suffered six defeats in their campaign already, they only managed to beat Moldova 1-0 on Friday evening. The visitors have really nothing to play for except for pride. When the two teams met in Andorra, Iceland emerged triumphantly. We are predicting a home win.

Ukraine vs Portugal

There will be lots of excitement when Ukraine and Portugal face each other in Kiev in the Group B derby. Top position in the standings is at stake and, no doubt, an entertaining clash is on the cards. Ukraine has been unbeaten in their Euro 2020 qualifier campaign. They are five points clear of Portugal ahead of Monday’s football match.

Seeing that the hosts would be happy with one point from the game, we predict that they are going to adopt a defense-minded approach in the Group B derby. Anyhow, a close encounter is on the horizon and we predict that the two teams are going to share the spoils at NSK Olimpijs’kyj. A man to watch in the home team will be Premier League Andriy Yarmolenko, whereas Ukraine defenders should have Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo at bay.
