Runtown ENDSARS
Popular Nigerian singer, Runtown, has taken to his social media page to inform his fans and followers all they need to bring along as his scheduled peaceful protest against Police/SARS brutality kicks off this morning.
The ‘Gallardo’ crooner had earlier tweeted about the protest, following the incessant attacks on Nigerian youths by the security operatives.
He wrote,“This has gone long enough and now we MUST take action! I’ll be leading a protest to #ENDSARS on Thursday, October 8th 2020.
The singer, who is set to be joined by fellow music artist, Falz Thebahdguy in the peaceful which takes place in Lagos this morning has now urged the protesters to come with their face masks so as to stay safe from COVID-19.
He tweeted,“See you at 10 ,bring your face masks (love)”
Fellow singer, Naira Marley had earlier cancelled his scheduled protest after he was reached by the Nigerian Police. The controversial music artist was however dragged by Nigerians for backing out.
