Popular disc jockey, Catherine Obianuju Udeh aka DJ Switch is to appear before the International Criminal Court in regards to the Lekki shooting.
Recall that the Nigerian celebrity DJ was at the Lekki tollgate when men in Nigerian army uniform shot at unarmed peaceful protesters.
DJ Switch made the incidence goes viral via Instagram Live as she reported the shooting where she and others tried to rescue many injured protesters.
After telling the ordeal to the Canadian Parliament as well as CNN, the ENDSARS activist is to appear before the International Criminal Court today, 17th of December, 2020.
She made the announcement via her official Instagram on Wednesday, December 16, and urged Nigerians not to give up hope.
She wrote, ““Tomorrow 17th of December 2020, I will be speaking at the 19th assembly of states parties to the International Criminal Court.
According to the celebrity disc jockey, this is a move to end the hardship Nigerians and Africans are facing from oppressors.
The ENDSARS protest was staged to say No to Police brutality and extrajudicial killings by Police/SARS which made the Nigerian youths to speak up against bad governance.
