Emotional Reason Imo Youth Burnt Down Police Station
Investigations have revealed the sad reason Imo youth burnt down a police station at Isinweke, Ihitte Uzoma area of Imo state.
A Twitter user with the handle, @Chimelretta shared the story of how police officers shot a young man, hours after his sister reportedly died in their custody only to find out that the lady was not really dead.
According to the story, the lady’s boss who owned a POS outlet had her arrested over the sum of 100k that was unaccounted for. While in police custody, the lady suffered an asthma attack but was neglected causing her to go unconscious.
The narrator said the Police took her body home to her family. Upon seeing his sister’s body, the young man started to panic and demanded to know what happened from the police officers, but instead of explaining their negligence, they shot him dead.
She added,
“The youths are revolting, burnt down the Isinweke police station in Ihitte Uzoma Imo state. The POS owner has fled the village. there is unrest currently

A fellow Twitter user corrected the notion that the lady was dead as she was not properly checked before the announcement.
Users under the post have been condemning the actions of the police while calling for justice for the man who was killed.
