Less than 72 hours after signing Sergio Aguero, Barcelona has added two players to their squad. They have completed the signing of Emerson Royal back to their team and Spain centre-back Eric Garcia on a five-year deal. Garcia will join them when his contract with Manchester City expires next month.
Emerson Completes Barcelona Signing
Barcelona is looking at bringing their players back to their team; Emerson was with Barcelona before selling to Real Betis. He spent two seasons on loan with the Andalusian club from Real Betis. They agreed on the original deal in collaboration with Betis, with each club paying €6m and Barca reserving an option to pay Betis €9m this summer to end the loan and take him back.

Real Betis will get 20% of any future transfer on the Brazilian player. Emerson, 22, is the third player joining the Spanish top side. Barcelona is on the move to rebuild their team and so they are buying the best of players they can find in the transfer window.
The player is currently with his national team Brazil preparing for this week’s World Cup qualifiers and could be involved in the Copa America later this month in Brazil. Barcelona head coach Ronald Koeman has only won one trophy since joining the club, and they finished third in the La Liga table last season.
