Ekiti State’s Ministry of Justice has officially listed 72-year-old Sule Adeola, a convicted rapist, in the state’s S€x Offenders’ Register.
Adeola, a native of Erinijiyan in Ekiti State, is currently serving a life sentence at the Nigeria Correctional Centre in Ado-Ekiti after being found guilty of raping a 10-year-old girl in 2023.
In a public notice released by the Ministry of Justice, Adeola’s name and details, including his previous residence at Federal Housing, Ado-Ekiti, were shared to inform the community of his status as a registered sEx offender. The Ministry has intensified efforts to ensure transparency and community safety by publicly listing convicted offenders, marking this step as part of a broader commitment to deterring sExual crimes in the region.
