EFCC Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa, now hale and hearty, has revealed that a dizzy spell caused the unfortunate event that transpired at the Presidential Villa.
On Thursday, in Abuja, the anti-graft agency’s boss, while delivering his goodwill speech at the Villa, suddenly collapsed.
Bawa, who appeared stressed at the event organised by the National Identity Management Commission, NIMC, fainted. The security details immediately rushed him to the hospital, where doctors told him he was dehydrated.
He made the revelations while speaking with channels television during a live political programme.
Bawa noted that he was addressing an audience at the NIMC event when “There was a sort of dizziness on me. I had to excuse myself from the stage,” he added.
He confirmed that the doctors at the hospital said he needed enough water to reduce the level of dehydration he suffered at the moment, adding that everything about his wellbeing was fine.
