Former Chelsea star player Eden Hazard has finally revealed the club to spend his next five to six years in football. According to the player, he said it has never crossed his mind to leave Real Madrid this summer after two injury-hit seasons at the Bernabeu, Eden Hazard said he is not leaving the Spanish side.
Eden Hazard Commits Future to Real Madrid
According to him, he said, “I won’t leave there as a failure.” The Belgium international was in Belgium’s 3-0 win over Russia in their Euro 2020 group opener on Saturday in St Petersburg.
He came in the 72nd minute of the game. Hazard has only started two matches for Real Madrid since joining them in January. His stay in the club is dominated by injuries which limited his impact in the club. Hazard said: “I’m only myself when I can enjoy myself on the pitch.
That hasn’t happened in the last two years at Madrid,” Hazard told Belgium’s Het Nieuwsblad. “If you have one or two injuries, you can flip the switch, you recover to come back stronger, but if it’s five, six, seven, it’s much more difficult mentally. But I keep going.”
Rumour has it that he was going to leave Real Madrid this summer and his former side Chelsea was the number one club coming to sign the player. But recently, the player said he is not leaving Real Madrid any time soon.
