Music Collaborations
One of the big things to happen to Nigerian music is the rise of artist, Rema. The sensational artist is set to gain more popularity globally as a collaboration with Canadian rapper, Drake would soon be released.
Rema was put on the world scene by President Barrack Obama as he made his playlist in 2019. The Mavins star, some weeks back was also featured by American artist, 6lack in a hit song titled ‘4 am’. It is another step higher to be in the studio with rapper Drake who is considered to be one of the best in the world.
Drake has once featured Nigerian music sensation, Wizkid in a song titled ‘Come Closer’ thereby taking Afrobeats to the world. He confirmed Afrobeat would be put to the world stage again as he said in a Instagram video post.
Drake was seen vibing to Rema’s Dumebi. The rapper said ‘‘Big up Rema too, we have a sick song together”. Many Nigerians have since gushed about the collaboration between Drake and the Don Jazzy artist, Rema.
Dumebi’s producer, Ozedikus Nwanne was glad about this too as he commented on Drake’s post ‘‘Damn! Produced by me”
