Despite Doyin Okupe’s N702 Million fraud conviction, that is Peter Obi’s Director-General of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, some OBIDIENTS still declared that the money laundering charges would not stop their support for the unstained next leader of Nigeria.
Popular political influencer, Nefertiti, known with the Twitter handle @firstladyship, gave the true intent of the authorities that decided to bring Okupe’s corruption charges up.
She hinted that the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC were swift in going after Okupe, to spite Peter Obi and slow down his chances.
“But they are too late! “Men are not God! God will always intervene in the affairs of mortal men. If your justice system is working, 99.99% of PDAPC politicians and their acolytes will be in jail.” She stated.
Similarly, @Elcross… posited that Okupe was convicted for N702m fraud committed as a Peoples Democratic Party, PDP member, “But guess the set of people thinking its a tool to mock Peter Obi and OBIDIENTS.” He asked.
There were several other comments on the microblogging platform that reaffirmed their support for Obi and Yusuf Datti as the next President and Vice of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
