Donald Duke, an Ex-Governor of Cross River State, has asked the public to disregard reports claiming he’s now a new member of the recently formed party – Rescue Nigeria Project, RNP.
On Tuesday, he revealed that information about his joining forces with other prominent political and societal figures got to his attention from false news making the rounds.
The formerly admired Governor learnt that the media mentioned his name among other aspirants claiming to possess the motive to give Nigerian citizens an alternative political resolve as against APC and PDP, respectively.
In the report he termed as fake, the message disseminated to the public was that those who formulated the party include former Governor of Kwara state, Ahmed Abdulfatai, Prof. Pat Utomi, Prof. Tunde Adeniran, former Governor of Cross River State.
Also, other names mentioned in the political movement are Senator Lee Maeba, Usman Bugaje, Prof. Attahiru Jega, Amb. Nkoyo Toyo, Yomi Awoniyi, Dr. Rose Idi Danladi, Dr. Sadiq Gombe.
