Nigerian Disc Jockey Florence Otedola popularly known as DJ Cuppy has revealed that she sometimes regrets her going back to school.
Cuppy is currently studying for her third degree, a master’s in African Studies at Oxford University, UK.
The 30-year-old singer revealed that her studies have put a strain on her music as she does not have so much time to invest in it again.
In a shared tweet, the cuppy wrote, “Some days I’m at @UniofOxford deeply regretting doing a 3rd university degree because I feel like it’s affected my progress in the music industry but some days like this, I’m really proud of myself and I know that education empowers me to be greater in every aspect of my life.”
In another video shared, DJ Cuppy noted that studying her continent (Africa) outside of her continent feels interesting.
She further revealed that there is so much that Africans do not know about themselves and Oxford University has made her understand a lot of things Africans should have known right from a young age.
