Diego Llorente Presents Negative Covid-19 Test Result
The Spanish national team could not play their final international friendly game against Lithuania. They used their Under-21 squad to play the game, and the young players did well to beat the Lithuania team 4-0. Diego Llorente returned a negative test result on Wednesday, leading Spain’s FA to suggest his first test may have been a mistake.
Their captain Sergio Busquets is still in self-isolation as he is yet to present a negative test result. However, he is included in the team, so after two weeks of his treatment, he is likely to return to the team. The highly anticipated Euro 2020, which was postponed due to coronavirus pandemic, will be kicking off on the 11th of June, with Spain playing their first game against host Sweden on Monday at 20:00 BST in Seville.
