DG Warns Prospective Corp Members

In his statement titled ’Corp Members Tasked on Teamwork, Patriotism’, the DG advised the corp members to source funds within the community rather than borrowing or using personal money for community projects.

He also encouraged PCM’s to consider personal or group projects that they can complete within their service year.

He implores the PCM’s to aim for NYSC President’s National Honours Award, as they will be assessed from their first day in camp.

He said, “For you to win the NYSC President’s National Honours Award, your assessment starts from your first day in camp.”

He added that “You must have excelled in all the four cardinal programmes of the NYSC, namely; Orientation Course, Primary Assignment, Community Development Service, and Winding-Up/Passing-Out.”
