A controversial shoe said to have been produced with human blood has surfaced, stirring reactions across the world.
Rapper Lil Nas X is billed to launch the show called “Satan Shoe” with an inverted cross, among some other weird eyes popping features.
Lil Nas X is producing this shoe similar to the Nike Air Max 97s in collaboration with New York-based art collective MSCHF.
The black shoe is has a sole containing 60 cubic centimeters of red ink with a drop of human blood. According to MSCHF, the human blood was donated by members of the collective.
MSCHF stressed that the drops of blood were donated because they love to sacrifice for their work of art.
Some other controversial things about the shoe are that only 666 pairs were produced and then the price of the shoe is another.
The “Devil Shoe” goes for $1,018 traced to a bible reference in Luke 10:18 that reads, “I saw satan fall like lightning from heaven.”
While the human blood introduced to the shoe production as received several knocks, Nike has distanced itself from the shoe, saying it has no hand in the production.
