Davido Signs May D To DMW Label
Famous Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, also known as Davido has added a new singer to his record label, Davido Music Worldwide, DMW.
In a post on his Twitter handle the newly signed singer, May D revealed this on Saturday, July 18, 2020.
Reacting to the tweet, many Twiter users, who commended Davido for signing May D to the DMW recordnoted that he has been doing everything within his ability to help other artists.
Akinmayokun Awodumila, popularly known as May D, was formally signed to the defunct P-Square record label, Square records.
You will recall that Davido discovered Mayorkan in 2016 and handed him his first-ever concert Mayor of Lagos within two years.
Mayorkun released a cover of Davido’s The Money single and was discovered by the singer on Twitter.
Apart from Mayorkun, other singers and songwriters under the DMW include Sir Banko, Dremo, Ichaba, Yonda, Perruzi, Dj ECool and Idowest.
The DMW record label is managed by Asa Asika.
