Nigerian pop star, David Adeleke aka Davido has reacted to the ongoing issue between billionaire heiress, DJ Cuppy & street pop artiste, Zlatan Ibile.
The issue began when Cuppy took to social media to report that Zlatan Ibile whom she featured in her hit single ‘Gelato’ had blocked her on whatsapp and Instagram.
This got their fans and followers to speculate reasons for the blocking. Zlatan however fueled the speculations as he denied knowing Cuppy on Live TV when asked about her.
Davido‘s personal logistic manager, Israel DMW, became Zlatan’s mouthpiece as he allegedly revealed what happened between the disc jockey and street pop act.
Isreal alleged Cuppy of not paying Zlatan for his collaboration on her song as well as stating that the billionaire’s daughter took the singer to Abuja for her fund-raising where she made billions of Naira but refused to give Zlatan money.
DJ Cuppy responded to the allegation by tweeting, “Super story (laugh emojis) #FreeCuppy”.
She has now taken more drastic action by suing Isreal DMW for libel and defamation of character.
This got DMW boss, Davido to react to the whole situation in his own way. The ‘Fem’ crooner commented on Cuppy’s post, “Tule“.
Tule is a slang coined by the pop star which means ‘release or free it’.
