Davido; Cousin at war Over Osun Governorship Seat

Nigerian musician David Adeleke popularly called Davido is at war with his cousin over the Osun state governorship seat.

Davido did not hold back his anger as he wrote a series of tweets on how he felt about his cousin’s ambition.

The musician’s cousin, Bamidele Adeleke has shown his interest in running for the Osun state gubernatorial seat after picking up the PDP ticket to contest in the primaries.

Bamidele’s nephew and former senator Ademola Adeleke contested for the governorship seat in 2018 is also in the running for the PDP primaries in the state.

Yesterday, a disgruntled Davido took to Twitter to call out the cousin after he has shared a picture of his obtained clearance certificate.

Davido wrote, “Wonderful! Me I finished uni with a 2:1. But it’s now cousin dele who struggled to even get a 2:2 that is now forming “intellectual”.

“Intellectual that has not succeeded in building one single thing in his life on his own. This life ehn! Osun beware of FAKES!” @deleadeleke001″

Davido Berates Cousin

In another series of Tweets today, the 29-year-old musician accused Bamidele of hiring people to write an article about him and his late mother.

The ‘Aye’ singer noted that his mum raised the gubernatorial aspirant, adding that God will reward him for his betrayal.

Another tweet read, “The truth hurt you that much you had to go that low to mention YOUR AUNTY VERO that cared for you .. well… I don open my crase for the year”

Davido however questioned his cousin’s morality, noting that the house Bamidele lives in was given to him by his father.

Davido said he can be disrespected, but would not accept any disrespect towards his Father and Mother.

“DELE I WILL STRESS YOU! We go meet for field ….” he threatened.

The 2022 Osun state gubernatorial election, will see two Adeleke’s go head to head for the parties ticket.
