Manchester United shot-stopper David de Gea has notified the club that he will be out for at least one month. The club has asked Dean Henderson to prepare for the next month to represent the club as the Spaniard will be out.
Dean Henderson was in the goal post for Manchester United in their 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace. Two United player engaged in word wars during the game, Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire, were caught on camera exchanging words after Rashford was seen on the offside and was criticized by the skipper; it did go well though.
According to the Manchester Evening News, David de Gea could be out for at least six matches across the next four weeks. Henderson has been asked to prove his worth in the absence of David de Gea.
United boss has refused to say anything about the decision of the Spanish international. Recently the goalkeeper has been talked about of leaving the club, but nothing came out of the rumour.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said the matter is a private one and will not want to talk about it. United fans will be seeing more of Henderson in United goal post now like never before.
Henderson made one outstanding save in the Crystal Palace clash, and it was a one-on-one stop. He prevented Patrick van Aanholt shot from going into the net. Ole said Dean is ever ready to put in his best whenever he is called upon.
