Manchester United duo Jesse Lingard and David De Gea won the hearts of United fans as they both performed excellently. Lingard came off the bench to score a stunning late winner against his former side while De Gea saved Mark Noble’s injury-time penalty to help United stretch their this season’s Premier League campaign to four.

Jesse Lingard, who spent a successful loan spell with West Ham United at London Stadium last season, appeared as a substitute in the second half to erase his Champions League error that led to the winning goal against Young Boys. The England International cut onto his right foot and fired into the top corner.

Further drama followed as Luke Shaw was adjudged to have handballed in the box but David De Gea did well to save the ball. The penalty was taken by Mark Noble, who was making his first touch after coming off the bench in the 95th minute.
