Daniele Rugani of Juventus Tested Positive to Coronavirus

Daniele Rugani who is a center-back for Juventus Football Club has tested positive to coronavirus. The Serie A player has been placed under quarantine for the main time. Daniele Rugani who was in the lineup against Lyon in their last Champions League and also against Inter Milan on Sunday had said so far he is fine.

Juventus said Daniella Rugani, 25, is “currently asymptomatic“. They tested all the juventus players but now has tested positive to the virus outside of Daniele Rugani. Rugani has made only seven appearances for Juventus this season, he was in the line up for their match againt Inter Milan on Sunday but was not featured at the end.

Italy has faced all sort of challenges since the coming of the coronavirus, they have shutdown all sporting activities in the country until April 3. Inter Milan and Roma Europa League games has been post-pond due to the virus. for now Daniele Rugani has said he is doing very fine although he is still under quarintine. Cristiano Ronaldo has packed his whole family members to his country Portugal until Italy will be able to resolve the whole issue.

Following Rugani’s positive test, the club has come out to say: “The club is taking steps to prepare all necessary procedures.” Daniele Rugani could have made contact with his team mates as he posted a picture of himself and his teammates in Juve dressing room after their win over Inter on sunday.

The Italian government has announced more measures including the closure of all shops except food stores and pharmacies in the country. Italy has over 12,000 confirmed cases and has recorded a death toll of 827 since the virus entered their country.
