In commemoration of her 40th birthday, famous Nigerian dancer, Kafayat Shafau Ameh also known as Kaffy has published a book titled Alajoota which means someone who chooses dancing as a profession.
Kaffy stated that the book is a diary of an African dance queen.
According to the dance queen, ALÁJÒÓTÀ is a summation of her life-defining experiences, foundational lessons and vital relationships that formed both the Woman and the brand that she has become.
Kaffy noted that she doesn’t hold anything back as the book talks about her struggles, victories, her fights and her wins.
She stated that the book about her life’s journey, recounting how she beat the odds, escaped from the sea of an almost drowning family, and fought through obstacles, to become Africa’s Queen of Dance.
On the occasion of her 40th birthday, the dancer and choreographer took to her Instagram page to post a few photos of herself and her family in celebration of the birthday as she described herself as endless.
You will recall that the famous dancer and her dance group in 2006 break the Guinness World Record for Longest Dance Party at the Nokia Silverbird Danceathon after they dancing for 55hours and 40minutes.
