A Civil Society Organisation, CSO, would continue its drive to groom future youth leaders that will change and take over the politics of Nigeria.
The CSO named African Centre for Leadership Strategy and Developmen, Centre LSD, has inaugurated the Plateau Leadership school in Jos in partnership with the Mountain of Hope Foundation, Jos.
A statement by Dr. Emenike Umesi, Director of leadership at the Centre says that the inauguration of this Centre will bring the number of Centre LSD leadership schools to six and the first in the North Central region of the country.
65 students admitted into the Jos programme shall take their matriculation oaths at the event, with the first lecture entitled “WHAT IS LEADERSHIP?” by the Founding Executive Director of CentreLSD, Dr. Otive Igbuzor following.
The Centre LSD Leadership school has so far graduated 1357 leaders and presently has 645 students undergoing the training at its various Centres across the nation.
The leadership school was set up in 2009 to train leaders by attempting to unravel the complexity of leadership and offering a framework that will help people become great leaders. The school is structured to produce leaders with capacity to mobilize people who can get things done.
The African Centre for Leadership Strategy and Development is a non-profit, non- governmental organization established under Nigerian laws to build strategic leadership for sustainable development in Africa.
