Crystal Palace set to Sign United star Player

English Premier League side Crystal Palace is considering moves for Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Lens midfielder Cheick Doucoure, according to reports. Aaron Wan-Bissaka, an academy graduate, left the club to join United in a £50m move in 2019 but has since not found favor with the new interim manager Ralf Ragnick as he has only managed to make very few starts with the club.

Crystal Palace Wants Aaron Wan-Bissaka on Loan

Given the right-back’s high wages, a loan deal seems a more likely option. Crystal Palace is also considering a move for 22-year-old Mali international Doucoure with boss Patrick Vieira keen to bolster his midfield options. While Palace is keen on Wan-Bissaka, new United boss Erik ten Hag has not yet had the chance to have a look at the players who he would like to keep in his squad for next season.

However, it is clear that with Nathaniel Clyne and Joel Ward in their thirties and Nathan Ferguson struggling to maintain fitness since he moved to the club from West Brom in 2020, the right-back position is a position the Eagles will be looking have a replacement in the summer.

Crystal Palace is also hoping to strengthen their midfield as James McArthur will turn 35 in October and has struggled with injury this season, Cheikhou Kouyate is out of contract at the end of the season and Conor Gallagher is due to return to Chelsea when his loan spell ends.

At 22, Doucoure would fit Palace’s strategy of targeting younger players who can help improve the side.
