COVID-19: Nigeria Impounds Flight of UK company Flair

The Nigerian government has said it has impounded the aircraft of a United Kingdom company, Flair aviation after they were caught carrying out regular flights despite the travel ban.

Hadi Sirika, Nigeria’s minister of aviation made this known today in a statement he released on his twitter page. The minister said the company was allowed to carry out flights for humanitarian purposes, but was secretly carrying passengers.

The minister also pointed out that the crew fo Flair was being interrogated and they would be penalized to the full extent.
