Covid19 Lagos Alert
The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Dr Akin Abayomi has alerted those who took part in the African Magic Viewers’ Choice Award, AMVCA 2020, of the likelihood of been infected by Coronavirus, COVID-19.
He made this known on his official twitter handle as the state recorded four additional cases of people infected with the virus bringing the total number of infected persons to twenty nine as at Tuesday, March 24th.
On his twitter handle, Dr Akin said “I hereby notify you that all participants at the African Magic viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) held on14th March at Eko hotels may have come in contact with one of the confirmed cases in Lagos and are most likely to have been exposed to COVID-19 Infection.
However, he advised those who were at the Venue of the AMVCA 2020 to observe self isolation and ensure social distancing.
“Attendees at the said event are therefo advised to, observe strict self- isolation.
