A few weeks after she was buried, a Kaduna State Magistrate Court has freed two out of the three suspects involved in the accident that led to the death of Flying Officer, Tolulope Arotile.
The court opined that the two suspects, Folorunsho Igbekele Faith and Gbayegun Deji were not found wanting in the death of Arotile, who is Nigeria’s first female helicopter fighter pilot.
According to the court, the decision to free the two suspects was based on the police investigation and the advice from the state’s Director of Public Prosecution.
The suspects, whom the court says have no case to answer were passengers and friends of the first suspect who drove the vehicle.
It was gathered that the first suspect, Nehemiah Adejor would be charged for culpable homicide and criminal conspiracy but not to be punished with death.
