Nigerian popular dancer, Kaffy has showed her grievances on how price of goods in the market have increased just because of the current situation in the country.
Kaffy expressed her feelings on a social media post (video). The Guinness Books of record holder for dance was furious on how the price of ginger has increased. She felt Nigerians are doing themselves but they would find excuse by shifting blames on the government.
She said sellers would want to gain 500% of their goods that were bought even before things became this way. She said we shouldn’t use the coronavirus pandemic as an opportunity to make money.
She said ‘’This is just not an economic let-me-make-money situation, we all can die. Don’t you understand that the whole world can be wiped away. This is a virus that can affect you. When you make the money finish, I want you to take it and chop it in heaven…’’
Kaffy felt helping one another to survive this time should be our priority not just trying to make money that couldn’t be spent if the world couldn’t survive this.
In her words, the American President can only do a bit but the citizens of America are trying to help one another. We shouldn’t rely on the government to provide everything for us to survive.
