The US to temporarily suspend immigration till they can get the coronavirus under control. This was an executive order by President Donald Trump still in a bid to combat the spread of the coronavirus.
“In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, I will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States,” he tweeted.
At the moment, no other detail has been given regarding the immigration suspension.
Speaking on reopening the country, the Vice President, Mike pence disclosed that the country has performed enough test in the various states and have gone through the first phase in the three phases to reopening the country.
“By our best estimates, we have enough testing capacity today for every state in America to go to phase one if they meet the other criteria of 14 days of reduced cases and sufficient hospital capacity to prepare for any eventuality that may occur”.
