Lagos and Jigawa States had the highest number of confirmed Coronavirus cases according to the updates released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC on Sunday, May 10, 2020.
The NCDC has continued to release daily updates on the extent of the Coronavirus spread across the country, and 248 news cases were said to have been recorded across 17 states of Nigeria on Sunday.
Out of the 248 new cases Lagos State had 81, Jigawa 35, Borno 26, Kano 26, Bauchi 20, Abuja 13, Edo 12, Sokoto 10, Zamfara 7, Kwara 4, Kebbi 4, Gombe, Taraba, Ogun, and Ekiti with 2 cases each while Osun and Bayelsa with 1 case each as well.
Nigeria now has 4399 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, 778 discharges and 143 deaths.
