Coronavirus In Nigeria: Presidential Task Force Meets Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has commended the presidential Task Force, PTF working on how to control Coronavirus in Nigeria.

He gave the commendation when he disclosed that the PTF on Friday briefed him on the work assigned to members of the force.

Buhari disclosed this in a post on his verified Twitter handle as he also posted photos of the briefing which was held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The tweet reads “The Presidential Task Force on Control of COVID-19 briefed me today. I remain very grateful for the hard work that they are putting into this national assignment. 

He further expressed optimism that the country would triumph over the Coronavirus outbreak.

“I do not doubt that with all these efforts, Nigeria will triumph over this pandemic”.

Presidential Task Force Meets Buhari

Earlier, the Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire, has disclosed that the medical team from China has gone into mandatory quarantine, for 14 days. 

According to him, there are plans to start video-conferencing with them from next week to take advantage of their time in isolation. 

He said they would share lessons and learnings from China with Nigeria.
