The Federal Government says it is ready to insure the health workers in the frontline of the battle against Coronavirus pandemic in the country.
According to the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, there would be “adequate insurance, adequate compensation, and support during and in the aftermath of the Coronavirus pandemic” for the frontline medical personnel.
Zainab stressed that the governmnet “would be engaging with the insurance industry to package special health care insurance which is life insurance for medical personnel.”
It would be recllaed that several medical personals across the world have unfortunately lost there lives in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic.
