The number of coronavirus cases in the country has risen to 1728, with the NCDC reporting a record 196 cases, with 52 new cases discharged after recovering and testing negative for the coronavirus twice, with seven new deaths also announced.
This new update brings one new state Yobe with its index case. The cases came from a total of 12 states.
