Not less than 10 Nigerian Senators go into isolation after returning from the UK in the wake of the coronavirus. Currently, legislative aides, parliamentary staff, reporters, and all those around the National Assembly complex are currently in fear due to their contact with the isolated senators.
Reports say the senators have just returned from a parliamentary forum from the UK. More so, none of the senators upon returning turned in themselves to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, for the appropriate checks regarding the spread of the COVID- 19. Some of them also attended plenary session and committee activities.
Investigations and contact tracing is still ongoing though none of them has tested positive to the coronavirus yet.
