Former Manchester United and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has declared himself the best manager in the English Premier League history after their 2-1 lose to West Ham United on the weekend.
Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho claims that he is the best manager globally, and this came after he failed to beat West Ham United in the Premier League.
The Special One, as he is called, was named the World’s Best Coach of the 21st Century. This was released by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS).
IFFHS normally organize the awards yearly to decide on the World’s Best Club Coach and the World’s Best National Team Coach. The statistics which began in 2001 have been on for years now.
They named Jose Mourinho the best coach in the 21st century, and German manager Joachim Low was in the second place position. It has raised lots of questions as the mangers have not been exceptional compared to other coaches in the world.
Pep Guardiola came in the fourth place position on the list, while Arsenal legend Arsene Wenger is fifth. After the game against West Ham United, Mourinho was asked if the results have made him doubt his methods. He said: “No, not at all. Not at all.
Zero. Sometimes results are a consequence of multiple situations in football.” The 58-years-old tactician is very optimistic that his side will still make the Champions League spot despite the constant poor result from his side.
