CNN anchor welcomes son through surrogacy. Anderson Cooper took to his social media page to announce the arrival of his babyboy.

Cooper went ahead to disclose his son’s name while explaining he was named after his father and his middle name was amongst his parents choice names when he, Cooper was born.

Anderson Cooper explained how he never through he would have a kid considering he grew up gay. He thanked the surrogate for all her efforts while sending regards o her supportive husband and her kids. He wished his parents and brother were alive to meet Wyatt Morgan Cooper, his son.

He also announced the arrival of his son on air at the end of his program. In his words,

“I never thought it would be possible to have a child, and I am so grateful for all those who have paved the way, and for the doctors and nurses and everyone involved in my son’s birth.”
